Mizuno Wave Evo Ferus

Maintain the efficiency of your stride on the trail with the almost- bare platform of the Mizuno Wave EVO Ferus.  The shoe is engineered to imitate barefoot shoes; however, it still has adequate cushioning in the right places to guarantee the protection and shock absorption during the gait cycle. The combination of a low offset and the award- winning Wave cushioning technology from Mizuno is an interesting structure to use on mixed terrains. It is trail- ready enough for advanced runners who yearn for a neutral foot motion. The aggressive outsole still needs a lot of work for mountain trails, but it never lacks support and stability for other surfaces, whether wet, soft, hard or dry.
Arch Support and Pronation Control
The Mizuno Wave EVO Ferus is considered to be a neutral shoe, which means it facilitates a more natural running technique. Its medial support could only support under pronation or supination. Over pronators are not recommended to buy this shoe, since it lacks enough pronation control to support the runner on the trail or track.
Terrain
The Mizuno Wave EVO Ferus is designed to tackle various terrain types. It has an aggressive outsole with multidirectional lugs for the trail, but it also features enough stability to be used on even grounds, like track and gravel. Since it can run well on different surfaces, whether wet or dry, the shoe is considered more versatile than other trail shoes.
Use
The Mizuno Wave EVO Ferus is a minimal feature shoe that has the right technologies to keep it versatile on both track and trail. It is engineered for daily training, but because of its minimal and lightweight profile, it could also be used as a racing alternative. Some people also walk and jog on it.
Durability
The Mizuno Wave EVO Ferus has a minimal durability threshold in the upper, but the outsole can last for 200 or so miles. The undersurface is made of a tough carbon rubber compound that minimizes wear and tear despite being used on mixed terrain types.
Outer Sole
The outer sole of trail shoes should feature an aggressive treading pattern and durable rubber compound in order to provide a high standard of traction, grip and high wear resistance. In the Mizuno Wave EVO Ferus, you can expect the Active X Outsole, which is a popular brand- exclusive outsole technology from Mizuno. It complements the Active X upper design. In the forefoot, there are X10 lugs, which enhance traction and protection in the front.
Midsole
Neutral shoes are expected to have a minimal midsole construction. The Mizuno Wave EVO Ferus only features two midsole technologies. These are the Mizuno Wave Technology, a popular cushioning  system placed in the forefoot and extends to the mid-foot, and the AP+ foam that fully covers the underfoot, from the forefoot to the heel.
Upper
The seamless upper construction of the Mizuno Wave EVO Ferus allows an irritation- free, next-to-skin contact and a comfortable lateral support for tricky terrain.
The forefoot cushioning of the Mizuno Wave EVO Ferus is also expected to be low as the heel cushioning. However, runners should take note that their trail shoes must have adequate cushioning in the front to prevent injury or pain in the forefoot while tacking rough terrains.
Experience the trail like never before with the Mizuno Wave EVO Ferus. Considered to be one of the best minimalist trail shoes in 2013, it keeps up with the big names in the industry with its low- profile platform and zero offset.  The shoe combines its aggressive outsole and reliable upper to provide durability, support and stability, and stride efficiency in a very light package.
Price
The Mizuno Wave EVO Ferus is originally priced at $110. However, it is sold in both offline and online stores for $85 to $110.
