Adidas Predator LZ

Out of the box, these shoes are very comfortable.   After some  time period they shape to your feet and should feel wonderful with a soft and cushioned feeling while also being a “tight” and well fitting shoe. I use tight loosely because it doesn’t mean that it restricts your feet. It gives a nice lock-down effect and allows for comfortable movement while running, passing, or shooting. The Lethal zones are a bit changed from the Lz 1 and now, they are more comfortable and flexible. They seem to have spots of randomized raised parts and might look funny at first but they do a wonderful job of giving a good grip on the ball. They are also more flexible so it allows your foot to stretch and bend more without feeling restricted.
The Lz 2’s are a very good looking shoe.

These boots weigh in at 8 oz or about 226 grams which is the same as the LZ 1. These boots have a sprint frame sole plate, a quite thin upper and the lightweight rubber grips make them lightweight with a smart design. The Design allows for a lightweight feel but with nice lock down and a solid boot.
The durability of these boots are great.

These boots are very well built and they are designed to last. All of the rubber grips are still intact with no sign of coming off. If taken care of properly they should last at LEAST a few seasons. The touch is amazing in these boots. The rubber elements make the ball practically stick to your feet. The lethal zones do a great job allowing the ball have extra friction with your feet allowing for a better touch. These shoes will not however magically give you the touch of Messi or Ronaldo. They do however give you that extra something when passing, shooting, or dribbling. The lethal zones now have their own individual patterns and texture.

The sweet spot is the spot for getting those great swerves. This spot used to be basically nothing on the LZ 1. The LZ 2 now has a more textured spot and gives the feeling for better control when curving. The Drive zone now is also a part of the lacing system. It may not be a big change but it lets the upper tie down nicely when laced up. The drive zone is more textured now with sections of raised “bumps” and gives an extra oomf when striking the ball. When fitting well, it makes you feel like you have a bit extra power. The raised bumps gives extra grip and feels like you put more power behind the ball. It definitely has a unique shooting feel but also has the unique predator shooting element.

Compared to the first generation of LZ is featured similar technologies but with enhanced rubber lethal zones it was one of the most popular generations of Predator yet.
